Hillhead & Ollyskins – Leading Manufacturer of Waterproof Protective Garments

Hillhead was the perfect opportunity for Ollyskins, a leading manufacturer of waterproof protective garments, to display existing products and a range of new innnovations for the contruction indusry. The Hillhead Quarry, Construction and Recycling exhibition is held near Buxton, Derbyshire.

Ollyskins develops products targeting not only the Construction Industry but also other industries including food, fishing, agricultural, engineering, councils & authorities and had a variety of products on display at the event. Core products include garments produced using heavy duty PVC coated fabrics. Inspired by the traditional oilskins used by fishermen during the earlier days, these products are extremely durable, hard wearing and water resistant. They also offer flexibility down to low temperatures and offer extreme water, chemical, oil and acid resistance.

The Hillhead Event

Hillhead is a world famous event and known for its live demonstrations. Each year a wide range of equipment is demonstrated in the Quarry area. At the quarry face, equipment from leading suppliers is put through their paces. Meanwhile, in the rock processing demonstration area, crushing and screening operations will also be working. As in previous years, the Recycling Demonstration area will again be an action-ground with the sounds of crushing, shredding, screening and washing equipment. Hillhead is not just about large machinery - the indoor Pavilions will be a hive of activity where visitors will find an array of ancillary equipment, products and services including: automation and control systems; computer software; health and safety equipment; oils and lubricants; security systems; spare parts; and surveying equipment, amongst many others. Hillhead is a bi-annual event.
