Overview:
The 2644 Hi-Viz Industrial PVC Chest Wader is designed for workers in the rail and construction industries. Certified to EN ISO 20471 with two bands of 50mm reflective tape around each leg and one around the body and manufactured from a tough polyester-backed PVC fabric that provides enhanced resistance to tearing. This latest model also features an S5 safety wellington with a lightweight composite toe cap, helping to reduce both overall weight and the transfer of cold to the wearer.

Wader Specification:
- Heavyweight XT1100 Hi-Vizibility PVC fabric – soft and flexible for comfort, yet tough enough for demanding industrial use.
- Naturally oil-resistant PVC construction – helps protect the fabric when working around oils and other industrial contaminants.
- Polyester-backed PVC fabric – provides additional strength and helps reduce the risk of tearing.
- 50mm reflective tape – improves the wearer’s visibility in low-light and higher-risk working environments.
- Hi-Frequency welded seams – creates a strong, watertight seal for dependable protection.
- Adjustable elasticated shoulder straps – provide a secure, comfortable fit while allowing greater freedom of movement.
- Ladderloc Chest Adjustment System – allows the wader to be tightened for a closer, more secure fit.
- Internal chest pocket with waterproof zip – keeps small essentials secure, protected and within easy reach.
Safety Wellington Specification:
- European-manufactured safety wellington – provides dependable quality and performance for demanding industrial environments.
- Composite toe cap – offers impact protection while being lighter and reducing cold transfer compared with steel.
- Steel penetration-resistant midsole – helps protect the foot from sharp objects underfoot.
- Certified to EN ISO 20345:2011 S5 + SRA – provides independently tested safety performance (the technical data sheet is available on request)
- Cleated outsole – provides improved traction and is suitable for use with Ollyskins studs when additional grip is required.
Notes:
This Wader has been developed as an extension of the already popular mode 2640 for use where users require official certification to EN ISO 20471 the Hi-Vizibility standard.
